Two brothers went out in the world and were foolish with their ways. They had a younger brother who was dwarf that went in search of his brothers. On their journey back home, the two older brothers kept wanting to kill the innocent creatures they came across. They came to a castle where an old man showed them a great feast and a bed for the night. The man took the eldest soon, told him there were a 1000 pearls hidden and that he was to find them all for the king to wed his daughter. He only found 100 the next brother found another 100. The dwarf set out but stopped to cry because the task was hard. The ants he had saved earlier stopped to help him find the rest of the pearls. The next task, was to retrieve the key for the princess's room at the bottom of the lake. Two ducks went and fished the key out of the lake for him. The king had 3 daughters, and the last task was to pick one between the three. Each had eaten something different and he had to choose the one that ate the honey. The Queen bee who the dwarf saved earlier flew in and checked to see which had the honey. The dwarf knew which daughter was the youngest that had the honey and who to choose. The spell that had been place on everyone turning them into stone was broken and everyone had awoken. The dwarf son married the youngest princess, and became king once the king died and the brothers married the other sisters
